UPDATED 5/18: Donna Summer, who had a home in Sarasota County, died in Naples

UPDATED 5/18: Donna Summer had a home in Sarasota County (see below) but died in Naples, according to a statement issued by her family.  

At the time of her death this morning, Donna Summer lived as Donna Sudano with husband Bruce Sudano in a 4 bed/4 bath home in Englewood, according to Sarasota County records obtained by the Bradenton Herald.

From Bradenton.com:
Her family released a statement, saying Summer died Thursday morning and that they "are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy."
"Words truly can't express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time," the statement read.
Summer had been living in Englewood, Fla., with her husband Bruce Sudano.

In case you care, Englewood is in Charlotte County, a good 45 minutes south of Bradenton (which is in Sarasota County)

According to Sarasota County Property Appraiser, home of Donna Sudano (aka Donna Summer) and husband Bruce Sudano is in Sarasota County:

Actually, Donna Summer lived in Englewood FL, however Englewood is divided pretty much in half. North part of Englewood is in Sarasota County and the south part is located in Charlotte County.

Donna Summer lived on Manasota Beach area of Englewood, but Manasota Beach are she resided in, is in fact located in Sarasota County.

Donna Summer lived in Sarasota County Fl. That's correct that Englewood is south county (sarasota) Southern part of englewood is Charlotte. She lived on North Manasota Key RD., which is gated. It is north of Manasota beach. Did not know she lived in our town. RIP Donna, loved you and your music!! the best times dancing @ the discos! thank you.
