Caroline Rhea has been all over television for the past two decades.

But the 48-year-old Canadian also stays busy pursuing her first love, stand-up comedy.

"It's like you're having a dinner party and have to make a connection," Rhea said by phone. "I'm old school, I want people to feel entertained."
