Everything's all about Boston this week. So here's my list of the 10 all-time greatest bands and solo artists from one of the best music cities in the country. It's totally subjective, not at all comprehensive, just my tastes. Your mileage may differ. Feel free to argue and tell me I'm stupid for leaving out J. Geils or someone.
It was difficult to leave Mission of Burma off. I just didn't have room for all the worthy bands. I really could have included them instead of about half the people on the list. . On a different day I probably would have. Obviously all lists such as this one are arbitrary The Freeze could have been a worthy choice too, The Bosstones are great but I've just never been heavily into ska. My thanks for all the comments and suggestions!
