On Sunday, Audra McDonald became the first actor of either gender to win a Tony Award in every major performance category (Best Lead Actress in a Play, Best Featured
Actress in a Play, Best Leading Actress in a Musical, Best
Featured Actress in a Musical) and she became he performer with the most Tony Awards ever (six). She's won for Broadway shows as diverse as "Carousel," "A Raisin in the Sun," and, most recently, "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill." You don't have to go to New York to see one of the most acclaimed stars in Broadway history. McDonald is coming to Sarasota for a concert at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
