I spent about three hours observing Oscar-winning director Taylor Hackford at work last night on set of Jennifer Lopez, Jason Statham, Nick Nolte and Michael Chiklis film "Parker" for this front page story:

Shame Mr Hackford couldn't convince his lovely wife Helen Mirren to join him on location. I'd love to meet her! Regardless, the pictures are lovely.
Thank you. I was told by reliable source Dame Mirren made appearance on set Wednesday. Unfortunately, I didn't see her Thursday or hear that she was there.
She was lounging poolside at the Ritz near us in her bikini.
