The Straz Center for the Performing Arts is holding teenage auditions for its upcoming show "The Sound of Music" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The audition is open to teens ages 14-17. Boys should be prepared to sing "Do Re Mi"; Girls, ""Climb Ev'ry Mountain."
Teens selected will appear in two to three scenes in multiple roles. The roles are not the Von Trapp children, though. Selected teens will need to be available for rehearsals Aug. 18-20.
The musical, now on tour, will play at the Tampa venue Aug. 20-22. This is a volunteer opportunity only.
