Bryan Adams comes to Bradenton-Sarasota area

  It's kind of hard to imagine '80s rocker Bryan Adams doing a solo acoustic tour. But that's what he's doing, and from all reports fans around the country are responding enthusiastically to stripped-down versions of "Cuts Like a Knife" and "Summer of '69."

   You can check the show out for yourself when Adams comes to Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on May 16. Tickets for the just-announced concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8 at vanwezel.org or at the box office, 941-953-3368. No word on ticket prices yet.
