Hemingway, Bogdanovich slated for Sarasota Film Festival
The Sarasota Film Festival has announced some of its key films for this year's festival, plus some of the celebs who will be there in the flesh.
Among the big names: Mariel Hemingway, Peter Bogdanovich, Cheryl Hines, Griffin Dunne and two-time Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Barbara Kopple. Kopple directed "Harlan County, U.S.A." and "Shut Up and Sing." Her new film, "Running From Crazy," which will be part of the festival, concerns Hemingway's struggle to deal with her famous family's history of mental illness and suicide.
The full schedule of more than 200 films will be announced March 13.
