'Duets' star Jennifer Nettles solo? Sugarland plays Tampa July 27

Singer Jennifer Nettles might be going solo after her win on ABC’s “Duets,” but, for now, at least, she’s happily touring with her Sugarland partner Kristian Bush.

"Kristian and I are very supportive of each other in that way," Nettles told Zap2it when asked about a solo career. "He's been off and writing with everybody on the planet, and obviously I don't have anything on the books right now as far as scheduled to go in, but I hope to be able to do that one day. And we both do actually, so we'll see."

The country duo, padded by plenty of backing musicians, will be bringing hits such as “Stay,” “Already Gone” and “It Happens” to Tampa on Friday as part of the Sugarland tour “In the Hands of the Fans.”
