Paul McCartney & Wings were fresh off a break during their massive Wings Over the World Tour when they came to Texas.
The album "Wings at the Speed of Sound," which contains the hits "Let 'Em In," "Silly Love Songs" and "Sally G," had just come out about a month before the band played Fort Worth.
Luckily, someone in the audience made a very good, especially for 1976, recording of this superb show in Fort Worth.
The tour would be officially documented with the 1977 mega-hit triple album "Wings Over America."
