Comic Dane Cook has canceled all Florida performances including an Oct. 24 date in Tampa at the 1-800-ASK GARY Amphitheatre.
''I appreciate all the support from my fans in Florida and I promise you all, that I will be back soon," said Cook via a statement posted on his website.
"Ticket holders will be offered the opportunity to be placed on a priority notification for premium seating for all of Dane's rescheduled Florida dates in the future. Refunds are available at the point–of-purchase.
The tour will continue as planned through 30 cities in the United States and Canada starting back up in Syracuse, NY on Tuesday October 26th and concluding on Saturday December 4th."
No word on whether Cook's half-brother Darryl McCauley being sentenced to five years on Oct. 13 for stealing millions from the entertainer played a role in the decision to cancel.
