REVIEW: 'Tempest,' Bob Dylan (in 140 characters)

Bob Dylan’s new studio album, "Tempest," which will be released Sept. 11, has been streaming in its entirety for free at iTunes since Wednesday.

It features 10 new, original songs by Dylan. I listened from start to finish last night and had it playing again this morning. While the title song alone, about the sinking of the Titanic, clocks in at 14 minutes, here's my first-listen review in a mere 140 characters:
Over vintage rock, swing and blues, Dylan croons with savage wit, gallows humor and defiance about a world both weird and sadly familiar.

I'll have a longer review run next week.

The official music video of Dylan performing "Tempest" opening track "Duquesne Whistle" can be found here.

Brilliant review! You say more in 140 characters than most bloggers could manage with a million.
